Ellmore motorsport was born out of the motor sport passion of former racing cyclist Dan Ellmore who grew up spending most weekends at Cadwell Park race circuit in Lincolnshire with his parents running a merchandise stall there.

After leaving University Dan took over from the original directors of the UK-based team cycling clothing manufacturing company, Impsport, and ran it solo from 2002 until 2008, when it attracted a buy out. During his time there, turnover doubled and the company enjoyed several milestone achievements including the accolade of Official Leisurewear Supplier to the 550 member Team England for the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne 2006 and being a finalist in four categories for the 2007 Lincolnshire Echo Business Awards, winning Innovation In Business for the bespoke design and build of a website that gave clients log in access for their online ordering portal for custom-made cycling and sports clothing.

After moving on from Impsport, Dan founded Ellmore Consultancy Ltd which is a web development, branding and digital marketing company. Dan also works as a consultant, offering mentoring to small businesses.

This was followed by Ellmore Tech Support, offering technical support and IT solutions for clients, and also Ellmore Clothing, suppliers of bespoke cycling clothing and event merchandise and now Ellmore Motorsport suppliers of bespoke motorsport branding, websites and paddock wear.
